Another bumper grid of over 25 cars resumed at Silverstone after the 7 week summer break in the Logson Group Porsche Championship. Steve Boyles produced the story of the day in qualifying, putting his 987 Boxster in pole posittion ahead of the regular suspects fighting for the Championship.
Normal service was soon resumed, however, as Rick Styrin and Steve Brown secured brialliant double victories (and fastest laps) in the Race Spec and Production Spec Boxster classes respectively, whilst Championship returnee David Hornsey showed what he is capable of with a double victory in the Porsche 924 class.
