Although I a have a couple of irons in the fire it would be useful to know about any cars currently available, so I would be grateful for any feedback. Don't want to miss Cadwell (are you reading this Martin?)
Thanks to all for your concern on Sunday.

Richard,
It seems I missed another eventful race! I hope that you are ok. There appears to be quite a few other DNFs (Will - gearbox?, Carl - engine? and Simon Stead - ??).
I bumped into Georgina's old mechanic at Pembrey. He has her car (in Swansea) which is up for sale. I believe that it has been re-sprayed and is ready to go but does not have the Piper cam. I don't know how much she wants for it, and I gave the mechanics 'phone number to Ernie. I probably have Georgina's number at home if you want it.
Micky Kline's car is also for sale (01708 746523) and Neil Harvey is advertising Marcus Hiolden's old car on this web-site.
Hope you get sorted soon.
Phil

Hi Phil, yes I'm fine thanks.
I'll get Georginas number from Ernie but I'm not sure about the lack of a Piper cam (although I suppose we could swap the engine for the 2.2 in my old one - only joking Derek).
The Harveys unfortunately only have a bare shell with a roll cage.
Are you going to Cadwell?
All the best
Richard

Yes, I have entered for Cadwell. I need to put the exhaust back on after I ripped it off driving on to the trailer, but apart from that I am ready.
Who bought Marcus' old car? Neil also had David Fisher-Holt's car there at one stage, although both looked a bit tired. I'm not sure that not having a piper cam would be a major inconvenience for a race or two.

I don't know where the cars went from Harveys, but what I do know is that my head is buzzing with all the various alternatives - build from a road car, buy a shell, buy a dog and do it up or do the 'Full Monty' like you did. Money and time, it's a difficult balance!
