Hello all. Just been looking at the final points table posted in the results section. If these are supposed to be the final standings then they are surely wrong because the worst 2 results have not been dropped. I work it out as : (1) G.Heard 253 (2) A.Kirkham 235 (3) M.Davies 227 (4) J.Ramsey 221. Am I right?

Hi Alistair

It was the same last year. I raised it with Stephen Olner and he said he wasn't allowed to make changes without Ernie's agreement. But I imagine it annoyed those in places 4-6 that were affected.

The principle is right but the 2007 regulations say that there are three rounds that don't count. I make it:

Graham 253
Alistair 220
Steve 214
Will 212
Matt 210
Jonathan 207
Richard 192

Everyone else has at least three non finishes.

Hi Alec. I've just looked at the regulations (well there had to be a first time) and you are dead right of course , I'm glad somebody is "on the ball".

Looking at the points, it was pretty tough going to make the top six this year and really only the roll of the dice separating third to sixth. The biggest surprise for me is Steve sneaking under the radar to take third place after what I'm sure he would view as an up and down season.
