Just wanted to say congratulations to Graham on winning the championship. I'm sure everyone will agree that he did it with some style!Clap   I would also like to congratulate Matt on a well deserved first race win. We had a great battle changing places a couple of times and I'm sure overtaking me on Corum curve at nearly 100 mph on the last lap must have felt pretty good.

I'd also like to thank Ernie for all his help over the last few years both on an individual level and also for what he has done for the championship as a whole. It came as a bit of a shock to hear him say it was going to be his last meeting as coordinator/sponsor. We're all going to miss him even if we don't all realise how much yet.

I'd like to echo Alastair's comments with congratulations to Graham and thanks to Ernie. I thought Ernie was a little subdued after the second race yesterday.....maybe he's going to miss it all as much as we are going to miss him!! Hopefully he'll still be available with words of advice and wisdom.

Matt was still grinning when we got back to Cheshire last night so I think he enjoyed sneaking back past Alastair in the last few seconds of the race. It was a brilliant clean race and good to see them reliving it together when they were out of the cars.

Well said Alastair,

Can I add my thanks to Ernie (and Christine) for all he has done and congratulations to Graham on the championship - it's much more fun when it goes down to the wire (from back here at least!).

I'm not surprised Matt overtook you on Corum, he was on rails goiing round there and he did the same to me in race 1.

Can I add my congratulations to Graham. Apart from the driving that's given him the Championship, I'm aware that many in the paddock have benefited from his help this year. Well done guy!

I would also express my appreciation for what Ernie and Christine have put into the Championship and for making it what it is. If Lodge Sports hadn't given me the opportunity to try one of their cars, I would probably not have got back into the sport. Its meant a lot to me. I hope that we will still see the both of you around.

Take care

Alec

Hi guys,

Sad to hear Ernie is stepping down.

Me and Suzanne would like to wish both Ernie and Christine all the best for the furture and thank him for the fantastic 2 years we had racing with the championship.

Who is the new Co-ordinator for 2008?

Gazza

Hi all

I and Judith would like to add our thanks to Ernie and Christine for the excelent time we had in the 924s. The coordinators job is a tough one as you are always trying to please every body  _ and we all know what that means. Its a great oportunity for soembody younger/fresh blood ( ernies words ) to really take the series on to another stage.

Cheers all

Hello

Congadulations Graham well deserved. What a close season!

Also Matt and Simon, equally worthy of my vote for rookey of the year

Highlights of snetterton (from the sidelines as I wasnt racing)

Steve Cheetham taking the esses after Corum completely sideways, getting it back and not loosing a position!

Simons touring car style approach to the esses which probably explaines him being a second a lap faster that anybody else in the 2nd race. And his drive from the back of the grid to 4th also in the 2nd race

2 mini's spinning and parking across the track as Will and Simon approached god that was close!

Richard M's ive got it, ive got it......no nonoooo spin at the esses.

The fantastic battle between Alistair and Matt in the last race.

Phill Hastwells wheel coming off!, and he didnt hit anything! the wheel woke the marshals up in the pits though!

Just like to add my thanks to Earnie for all his support, advice, and patience! I for one appreciate his direct, no nonsense (alright Pal!) approach. Its refreshing in a sport which is 60% spin and bull sh*t!.

Be a tough job to find another series sponsor who is prepared to work all night to help change big end bearings on a competitors car!

You never know if Steve decides to compete next year I'm sure Earnie will be there too!

Steve

Hi all,

Many congratulations to Graham on the championship! A hard fought a battle with Will, this is as close as racing can get..

Also a very special thanks to Ernie. I started racing last year not knowing anything about it, and even though I had 1 finish in 6 starts and really struggled, Ernie really helped me out in terms of encouragement, straight talking advice, parts and now I can at least finish a race or two!

Our series has enviable camaraderie and I think it is an attitude Ernie brought to the championship. I dont think Ernie checks the forum, so I am writing this here- maybe it doesn't matter. As everyone, I am sad to see him go and perhaps everyone can chip in a tenner or something so we can buy him something nice to present at the party, as a token of our appreciation. If anyone is in, please reply (maybe in the driver's area??), so we can decide what etc.

Kamal
