Profile:
I am a 25 year old PhD student working in the internal combustion
engines area, mostly messing around with measuring the combustion process.
Started a university based racing team that competes in the 924 series after
buying a road car off e-bay and building it into a race car. Low budget
meant that reliability and performance issues were rife, and had a huge
string of DNFs. Bought another car in 2007, but had another huge string of
power and reliability issues with that too. Painfully sorted the electrical
and chassis issues and after a full rebuild for 2008, the engine failed at
the shakedown. Now getting a better engine put together, and hopefully I'll
get a bit more track time!

Achievements:
Well..10 race entries and 5 race finishes, so not good!
However, the car was working better towards the end of 2007 with some top 10
finishes and reasonable pace. Was on for a top 5 place at Snetterton in a
car quite down on grunt before contact with a mini and the exhaust falling
off ruined it.
Hopefully 2008 will be better..
