If its Silverstone, let me know the date - I might come along. There's a Porschey day on the GP circuit coming up for not very much money.

A huge thanks Richard Avery for the loan of your seat.we had an absolute ball at the Rockingham track day.I took karen around for a good few laps.she will tell you how much she enjoyed it.
I then let Chris Valentine and Pip Waters out in the car and they managed to enter a ploughing competition at piffpaff.very funny.

I'll get the seat out during the week richard and give you a bell when I am out your way.thanks again

Although I would state for the record that it was the seasoned 924 driver that binned it - not the complete newbie who managed 17 minutes in challenging conditions without collecting either grass or gravel.

The conversation went like this;

Chris; Are we nearly there yet?

Me; Won't be long Chris just another lap. be a good Boxter boy and sit still, I know you are not used to going this fast.

Chris; I'm hungry

Me; We'll be there before you know it, we can have a picnic in the pits.

Chris; But I want to have our picnic now.

Me; Ok ok, I'll just get round Pif Paf and we can head back for the pits..........Oh bugger!

Me; We'll be there in a minute!

I think you'll find the conversation actually went more like this...

Chris: This is the really slippy bit - there's no grip here at all.

Philip: Watch and learn son - watch and learn...

Chris: (thumps and noise of gravel being flung everywhere) so Philip - what do you do for an encore?
