Just to satisfy the "former 924 racers"  thirst for information.....Pembrey was a blast!! ......although something of a car breaker with a high attrition rate in the second race. Going to be lots of engine rebuilding going on before Snetterton and I think most people's brakes came away from the meeting in a pretty sorry state. The extra grip from the Toyos coupled with the big stop for the hairpin tested the cars to their limits.

The other great news was that the racing was really clean. What dents there were came from racing incidents rather than deliberate nudges which made the whole weekend much happier.

I had a quick look at the points situation and, without preempting the official results with back of the envelope calculations, it looks like Johnathon had the best weekend!

Speaking on Pembrey does anybody know where and when it will be broadcast?

Cheers

Have to agree with Andy, it was a great weekend. Have you seen the report in Autosport? Lead story and main picture on the page (98).

Yep FANTASTIC weekends racing.

Had a brilliant 2nd race with Steve King and Matt Davies, the cleanest racing I have known in the 924's brilliant. I guess we wanted to keep the cars shiny for the cameras!

Also my best result of the year! although that said......all I needed to do was finish in the 2nd race and it would have been my best such was the attrition rate!

I liked Pembrey quick and flowing but punishes you big style for any tiny mistake! miss an apex or run wide at the exit at your peril!

Also having another qualifying on Sunday was great, seeing as I had slept in between races it was good to remind myself which way the track went!
