Good Day

Weather was qiute warm and it didnt rain!!

We were all interviewed cars and drivers photographed, we even drove around the track at lunch time with the photographer hanging out of the back of his volvo photographing us in formation!

Unusually for a gaggle of 924's on the same track nobody crashed or broke down, I got told off for overtaking on the wrong side!

Surprising array of other cars there from saxos, ferrari's Aston Martin, 2 Ginetta G50's and best of all a 2CV! not much could touch the 924's in the corners. and with not much in the way of straights the faster cars had to work to catch up!!

Yes full circuit, It took me a while to get back into it, but by the afternoon the circuit started to flow, and I think I put in some good laps! Still not sure I've gone the right way with the handling, but the proof will be in qually at the 1st race I guess!

Ran on EBC's all day, I dont know what Jay does to make them work for a whole race mine started to fade after 5 laps. Obviously using them too much!!

That sounds odd - I can get 3 meetings out of a set of Yellow Stuff. Are you bedding them in properly and going through a couple of heat cycles before using them in anger? I seem to remember Jayson saying something about the elaborate preparations he makes with his pads.

The problems not wear its fade! your probably right though, my bedding in process was qually at the last race last year! Jay does have the advantage of his own private test road!!

Hope to be back on the C/L's before we race in April and all will be well again!

Yes, I was impressed by the Carbonne Lorraines but personally don't feel they are worth the rather large price differential over the EBC's.

ps. that's the brake pedal in the middle, not a foot rest!
